Care for Living provide a myriad of supports and services by our friendly support team but are not limited to….
- Implementing and assisting participants in achieving their goals
- Accessing, engaging, and accompanying participation in community, social and civic activities
- Assistance with travel/transport arrangements
- Assistance with engaging participants in their daily personal and social activities
- Assistance in personal care and daily personal hygiene, dressing/grooming, cleaning, and fitting of aids
- Development of daily care and life skills
- Domestic assistance/cleaning/laundry
- General garden and yard maintenance
- Meal preparation and meal assistance
- Monitoring medication administration
- Support coordination, managing life stages, transitions or supports
- Implementation of Behaviour Support Plans
- High Intensity Supports
The support team that we use provide duties in accordance with their scope of practice, qualifications and experience working under the SCHADS Award 2010. Our support team are bound and work in line with Care for Living’s own Policies and Procedures that reflect the NDIS codes of conduct and supporting government Acts and regulations.
We as a service provider will not dictate to the participant when or how long they can have supports for; we as a service provider work with each participant’s plan and the participant to set up supports that is suited to the individual’s needs, requirements, wishes and wants to live their best life.
